Learning Environment

21st Century Learning Environment - 21st Century Learning

Children joining Towers Junior School enter a learning environment fit for 21st century learning. We have a fantastic learning environment along with a topic based creative curriculum. This enables us to stimulate curiosity and creativity in our children, whilst nurturing life long core learning skills.

In response to pupil voice, we are able to offer unique facilities including a purpose built music room, art room, pupil kitchen, a computer suite and more informal learning hub areas.

We have installed combination goal posts for football and basketball on the playground. A further grassed area with picnic benches and shade is also available during summer months.

We have an ECO garden where children who participate in the ECO club grow their own vegetables. The crops grown are used for Food Technology lessons and supplement school lunches. This area also houses benches for classes to enjoy story time and science based activities in the fresh air.

Towers Junior School has a wonderful learning/working environment for both the children and staff to enjoy.
